Gather in a consecrated room adorned with Novumism sigils and initiate’s chosen artifact.
Participants don ceremonial attire and stand in designated positions.
A central altar becomes the focal point where,
the artifact is placed
a chalice with red wine is positioned
a single candle is placed in a holder
a bowl of soil sits
a dagger lays
CEREMONY BEGINS
Initiate is led into the room blind and kneels before the altar
The participants join the Guild Master in performing the LBRP.
INITIATION
Guild Master faces the Initiate and performs the Qabalistic cross.
Guild Master: “Gathered here is the new initiate, [NAME]. HE/SHE comes before us lost and blind seeking membership and companionship. [NAME] do you seek to see reality as it truly is?” YES/NO
Guild Master: “Remove the blindfold.” BLINDFOLD IS REMOVED.
Guild Master: “[NAME] whom have you chosen as your discipleship?” INITIATE ANSWERS.
Guild Master: “May they guide you forever and always.”
All participants: “Forever and always.”
Wine is spilled onto the soil. Then some of the mud is put into the initiates left hand. Guild Master: “From the earth we come into being.”
The candle is lit. Guild Master: “With light may we see what is real and false.” Candle is given to the initiate to hold in their right hand.
The dagger used to perform an elemental invocation of the initiates artifact.
Guild Master: “You are now bound to all brothers and sisters within this Guild and all other guilds. Carry the torch of illumination, and may the mysteries of the path guide you through your existence.”
All participants: “May you see as we see.”
Guild Master: “[NAME] you stand as the middle pillar between order and chaos. May you rise and be as one.” INITIATE STANDS.
CLOSING
The Guild master walks behind the altar. Guild Master: “Thank you members and thank you spirits for bearing witness to this ceremony.”
The participants join the Guild Master in performing the LBRP.
Initiate drinks from the cup, blows out the candle, and is given his artifact
Participants leave the room first, followed by the Initiate, followed by the Guild Master.
